Liberty
House is a cozy bed and breakfast nestled in the historic area
of Weiser Idaho. This
beautiful home was built for George Nesbit, a sheep rancher turned
banker, in 1909. It was built by Tourtellotte and Hummel,
who built many of the beautiful buildings in the surrounding area,
including the Capital in Boise.
This
home has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places
by the Department of the Interior.
We
feature four beautiful bedrooms - The Master Room, The Quilt Room,
The Blue Room and The Zen Room. Sinks are in three of the rooms.
All
rooms are $60 per night plus tax. This rate includes a delicious
home cooked breakfast. There is a full bathroom on both the first
and second floor. All guests
can enjoy the common study, library & reading room, dining
room and spacious sitting room as well as the outside gardens.
We
are proud to be able to share our home with those traveling through
our area or looking to settle in our small town of just over 5000. We
offer a quiet comfortable atmosphere, more than reasonable rates
and a home-cooked breakfast to start your day.
Weiser
is home to the National Old Time Fiddlers' Contest the third full
week of June with participants from all over the United States.
